Civil Partnership Ceremony - Fri 24

In December 2005, after many years of campaigning by human rights organisations, the UK Government passed law to allow same sex couples the right of civil partnership.

In the first twelve months since the law was passed, over 18,000* couples made their relationships official and gained fundamental rights recognising their union.

On Friday 24 August 2007, eight more couples committed to each other in Manchester Pride's Group Civil Partnership ceremony.

Check out the pictures from the event using the link on the right, and join us in wishing them all the best for the future.
