PARADE STEWARDS

Parade stewards are required to help wih the Manchester Pride Parade on Saturday 23 August.

• To assist in the set up of the parade, including positioning of the running order of event participants
• To liaise with parade entrants and report to the Parade Co-ordinator
• To steward the movement of the parade across the City Centre to ensure the safety of parade entrants and members of the public.

Please remember that this role requires a long walk with the parade and we would request that you only apply if you feel you are able manage this.

PLEASE NOTE
Big Weekend volunteers will need to agree to work a minimum number of hours within a shift pattern. You are not required to work every day of the weekend, but you will only have access to the event site on days of working.

Neither volunteers nor Manchester Pride staff are offered complimentary tickets to the Big Weekend, as proceeds from ticket sales go to charity
