When did you first volunteer for Manchester Pride?
This year is the first time for me, am very excited.

What type of volunteering have you done previously?
I have driven a mini bus for Age Concern, worked with Groundwork Oldham and Rochdale, fundraised as a school child.

Your best experience whilst volunteering for Manchester Pride?
So far it has been fun getting to know everyone at the vounteer socials in the village.

How did you hear about Manchester Pride?
Through word of mouth within the gay community.

How has volunteering benefited your personal development?
It has helped teach me new skills and I have gained more confidence through meeting/engaging with new people.

How has volunteering benefited your professional development?
The work I have done so far has assisted me in getting another job after a long period of illness.

Would you recommend volunteering for Manchester Pride?
Yes, gives you a sense of personal pride and achevement.

Best Pride moment?
Chilling with friends and a beer in the womens space tent watching the comedy and singers.
